  • Consultation: Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation with one of our skin therapists.

    They will assess your skin type, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine if Picosure is the ideal treatment for you.

    First, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to prepare it for the laser. You'll be provided with protective eyewear. .

    During the treatment, your clinician will use a handheld PicoSure device to deliver ultra-short pulses of laser energy to the targeted areas of your skin.

    You might hear a slight snapping sound and feel a sensation often described as the flick of a rubber band against your skin. This sensation is brief.

    The treatments will vary from patient to patient but generally around 20 to 30 minutes each.

  • This will be dependent on each individual’s needs, but a dramatic change to the skin can usually be noticed after only 1 treatment.

    Your suggested treatment program will be discussed as part of your initial consultation.

  • You can typically return to your normal daily activities almost immediately after the session

    Immediately after treatment it is common to experience some temporary redness and mild swelling in the treated area.

    This is a normal and expected response as your skin begins its natural healing process. Pigmented spots may also appear to be darker before fading.

    These post-treatment effects are generally mild and usually subside within a few hours to a day, though some individuals might experience for up to 24-48 hours.
